Dr. Colby completed his undergraduate degree at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. He went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry and a Master of Education degree from Pacific University College of Optometry.

Dr. Colby has been a dedicated part of West Metro Ophthalmology, where he has provided over 25 years of compassionate patient care. He specialized is comprehensive routine eye care and medical eye exams related to diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts and dry eye syndrome. He is a past president of the Minnesota Optometric Association and remains active in the optometric community.

Dr. Colby lives in the northwest metro with his wife and two children. Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family and tending to his beehives—beekeeping is one of his favorite hobbies.
