Dr. VanMeter grew up in Minnesota and completed her undergraduate degree from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She graduated from State University of New York College of Optometry and has been practicing full scope medical optometry in Minneapolis since 2012.

In her spare time, Dr. VanMeter enjoys traveling with her husband and time with her family. She loves a good book recommendation and usually has a knitting project in the works.
