Low Vision Resources

Connecting you with resources and services to help maintain your independence

    How We Can Help

Low vision is a significant visual impairment that cannot be fully corrected with regular glasses, contact lenses, medication, or surgery. It is different from blindness—people with low vision still have usable sight that can be enhanced with the right tools and strategies.

At West Metro Eye, we specialize in connecting you with the right resources rather than providing in-house low vision evaluations. Our team can discuss your situation over the phone, provide personalized resource recommendations, and coordinate referrals when needed.

Most patients find it helpful to start with a phone consultation where we learn about your specific challenges and goals. We'll then send you information about the resources that best match your needs—whether that's adaptive equipment catalogs, local nonprofit services, or referrals to specialized providers.
